Our Fast Food - 家常快餐



今天气温零下15度,湿度85%。加上风速感觉像是零下25度。傍晚6点街上已没人影了。7点半车行也冷清下来。Victor决定收拾一下回家了。车上的暖气不好,Victor也没时间修,坐在车里感觉像是坐在冰窟里,手脚冻得发麻,连头都开始疼了。又冷又饥。一路上想着今晚这餐该咋办。9点一刻到家。换了衣服,洗完手,打开冰箱开始搜索。 一个小时不到,我们的家常快餐就准备好了。窗外,又开始下雪了。


蒜香骨


















肋排骨                 2
蒜蓉                    1
生粉                     2 汤勺
                       1个半茶匙
菜油                     12

将肋排骨洗净,用纸巾擦干水。把肋排骨,蒜蓉,生粉和盐一起倒入一个大的保鲜袋,将保鲜袋内的所有材料搅匀,将保鲜袋内的空气挤压干净,封口。放入冰箱腌24小时。

预热油:在一个中型锅里倒入菜油。为了安全起见,锅要深一些,这样炸排骨时,油不会渐到外面。高火,将油烧热到华氏400(大概5-6分钟)。取出排骨,去掉蒜蓉,慢慢的将排骨放入油锅。炸3分钟后,调到中低火,继续炸7分钟。捞起,沥干油。开吃。


蒜香蚝油芥兰苗

蚝油                       2汤勺
蒜蓉                       半茶匙
                           2汤勺
                           1茶匙

将一锅水烧开,放盐,放入洗净的芥兰苗。煮开后,继续煮2分钟,捞起,上碟。
高火将炒锅预热,倒入油,将油烧滚,关火。放入蒜蓉,蒜蓉炸至金黄,将油和蒜蓉一起倒在芥兰苗上。淋上蚝油。


煲仔丝苗

将丝苗米洗干净,倒入煲仔,加入2杯水。大火烧开,用勺子将煲仔底部粘锅的米刮起。将火调到最小。焖15分钟。(小提示:时常听朋友说,做煲仔饭时老是焦底。要想不焦底,当煲仔饭烧开时,用勺子将煲仔底部粘锅的米刮起。这样底就不会焦了。如果想吃饭焦,再继续焖10分钟。)


Garlicky Ribs
If you are garlic lover like us, you will definitely love this recipe. It’s easy and garlicky. You won’t regret after you tried.  Warning: you are not able to say “Hi” to anybody after eating, at lease in couple hours.

Ribs                                       2 lb.
Garlic                                     1 cup (finely chopped)
Corn Starch                           2 tablespoon
Salt                                       11/2 teaspoon
Canola Oil                              12 cups

Clean ribs, dry well with paper towels. Put ribs, garlic, corn starch and salt into a big Ziploc bag. Mix well all the ingredients in the bag.  Push out all the air and seal the bag.  Refrigerate for 24 hours. 

Warm up the oil in a deep fryer up to 400’F.  (If you don’t have a deep fryer, you can use stainless steel pot.  For safety purpose, choose a deeper stainless steel pot) Take out ribs from bag, remove all garlic.  Slowly slice the ribs into deep fryer.  Fry for 3 minutes, turn down the heat to medium. Continue fry for another 7 minutes.  Take out ribs, drain all the oil.


Garlicky Oyster Sauce Chinese Broccoli
Water                                   15 cups
Chinese Broccoli                     1 lb.      
Oyster Sauce                         2 tablespoon
Garlic                                    ½ teaspoon
Oil                                         2 tablespoon
Salt                                       1 teaspoon

Bring 15 cups of water to boil. Put in salt, and then put in cleaned Chinese broccoli. Bring to boil again. Continue to boil for 1 minutes. Drain the water, remove Chinese broccoli into a dish.
Warm up a fry pan, pour in oil, warm up the oil till start to smoke, turn the heat off, and add in garlic. Fry the garlic till golden.  Pour oil and garlic onto Chinese broccoli.  Add oyster sauce onto as well.  


Clay potted Jasmine Rice
Jasmine Rice                      2 cups
Water                                2½ cups

Clean the rice, put into a clay pot, and adds water.  Bring to a boil over high heat.  To prevent the rice stick on the bottom of the pot and burned, use a spoon scratches the rice off the bottom of the pot when it boiled.  Turn down the heat to minimum.  Let it set for 15 minutes.
