Congratulations for the 45th years marriage.
October 1st was my parents sapphire anniversary. Luckily they are here is Montreal with me, so I can throw a party for them. 45 years is a such remarkable marriage. I invited some friends over to celebrate this special day. Everybody brought one of their signature dishes. It was a big feast. Of course, I made a cake for them. I asked my parents what kind of cake they want. "Simple".
This is exactly my parents. They are just ordinary couple with simple life. They are very conservative. They don't have romantic story. They have been through ups and downs. But no matter what happened, one thing never changed: love. I never heard them said "I love you", but they love each other every second. I never seen them kissed each other, but they hold each other's hands through 45 years. This is love of lifetime, this is pure love.
In this special day, a simple cake with a lots of good eats and a lots of friends, we celebrate the true love.
